1: Elm Field/Daisy Field

Athletics and cricket (Summer) and rugby and hockey (Winter) are played on these fields. It is also home to the School’s hotly contended annual Sports Day.

4: Lisbury Farmhouse

Lisbury Farmhouse is a co-ed boarding house opened in 1984 and renovated in 2021. Over ninety girls and boys are supervised by Senior Houseparents and Assistant Houseparents. Follow Sexey's Boarding on Twitter @sexeysboarding.

6: Macmillan House

Opened in 1994, Macmillan is named after Old Sexeian Douglas Macmillan, who also founded Macmillan Cancer Care (the School’s charity). Over ninety girls and boys are supervised by Senior Houseparent's and Assistant Houseparent's. Follow Sexey's Boarding on Twitter @sexeysboarding.

7: Tennis/Netball Courts

Known to Sexeians as the Hack, the tennis and netball courts are set in a beautiful green valley.

10: Sixth Form Centre

The Sixth Form Centre is the School’s dedicated Sixth Form space, complete with computer room, study space and ‘Hot Hatch’ café.

13: KDR (Kitchen Dining Room)

A firm favourite place for most of our students, the Kitchen & Dining Room (or ‘KDR’ as it is affectionally known) provides two hot food options and a full salad bar for lunch as well as boarding breakfasts and dinners daily. We are members of the Healthy Schools Plus South West scheme.

25: The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary has been created as an area in our school where students can come to address any social or emotional issues they are having that may be restricting their ability to learn. It is a place of refuge and retreat for everyone in the Sexey’s family, especially when we are feeling emotionally vulnerable. Members of school can also request a time for worship or prayer in the Sanctuary.

27: Swimming Pool

Sexey’s heated indoor swimming pool is 19.5m long and 1.4m deep. In addition to swimming lessons and kayaking, the pool is used to teach water survival skills. It is occasionally used by the local community and the pool is also open for group session use by boarding students during supervised times.

29: Health Centre

The modern health centre provides comprehensive medical care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Facilities include two fully equipped wards, a fully functional clinic and examination room, and quiet areas.

33: Memorial Field: Football

Although a work out in itself to ascend the hill to The Memorial Field, students are rewarded with some fantastic panoramic views during their football fixtures and games lessons.
