Full Boarding Fees
Sexey’s School is one of just 30 state boarding schools in the UK, offering free education and affordable boarding.
As a state school all pupils, including boarders, must hold a UK passport or have leave to remain in the UK to be eligible for admission. All boarders from overseas must also have a guardian in the UK.
Full Boarding Fees at Sexey’s
The termly state boarding school fees for Sexey’s academic year 2024-25 are £5,100.00 for the first child.
A 5% discount on boarding fees is offered for sibling places in boarding. This applies whilst there are two or more boarders, who are siblings, on the school roll provided they reside at the same permanent address out of term time. The school may require proof of eligibility.
These fees cover all boarding costs. Our fees do not include any international banking charges or costs, these will be charged additionally if charges apply.
Deposit
Once the offer of a full boarding place has been confirmed, parents/guardians will be asked to sign a Form of Agreement and submit a fees retention deposit of £750 per child if based in the UK or £1,000 if based overseas. This deposit is non-refundable in the event that the child does not take up the place accepted. It is held on account and can be redeemed against the extras for the final term.
Payment of fees
All fees are payable in advance before the commencement of each term to qualify for any discount. Other methods of payment are available. A direct debit payment plan is available, please speak to Admissions for more information.
Interest will be charged on overdue accounts at a rate of up to 2% per month. Reminders will not normally be forwarded, and failure to settle the account within 30 days of the commencement of the new term may result in legal action being taken to recover the whole amount.
Should a parent or guardian fail to pay the fees the Governors reserve the right to refuse the return of a pupil to the school.
