Extracurricular activities at Sexey's School

During the day and between four and eight PM on Monday to Friday our school staff put on a range of extracurricular activities for both day and boarding students.

Some of these are designed to provide academic support to students who need a bit of help in organization of their work or getting their homework done, such as S3 Homework Club (a mixture of support and games aimed at improving literacy and numeracy) or GCSE coursework support.

Others are to stretch and support the Gifted and Talented students in the school or to allow students with a particular interest to explore things further. For example, in association with the Confucius Centre at Southampton University and the British Council, we run complimentary Mandarin Lessons after school, taught by qualified Mandarin teachers.

We also encourage and support students with a particular interest to start their own clubs and activities. Click here for a list of clubs and activities for 2017/18.
