How to apply: Lower School Boarding Years 7-10

We’re delighted that you’re considering a place at Sexey’s School. To board and study at a state boarding school students must be a national of the UK and are eligible to hold a full British Passport or those who have the right of residency in the UK.

If you are looking to board in Years 7 – 10 (2026/7 entry):

Boarding places to join for the 2026/27 academic year are still available.  Our new online application portal is now live – to apply for places for Years 7 to 10 please go to Sexey’s School Admissions Portal

Please note that the school is closed from Wednesday 15th July to Thursdays 3rd September 2026. Applications received during this period will be processed when we return in September. Should you be looking for a September start please indicate this on your application and we will prioritise the application.

Please note that when making your application information for your child provided must be a true reflection of the facts and that all substantially relevant details are disclosed prior to admission. Fraudulent information or failure to disclose information can lead to the termination of a boarding place on the grounds it was fraudulently obtained.

Boarding places are only confirmed when an offer has been accepted, a deposit has been paid and we’ve received your boarding contract.

All Boarding Admissions are conducted in line with our Admissions Policy.
