The spirit of Spring was brought to life in a vibrant and varied evening of music at this year’s Easter Concert. Pupils from across the school showcased their talent, dedication and musical flair in a programme that spanned classical masterpieces, musical theatre favourites and contemporary hits.

The concert opened with Dynamix, who delivered a powerful medley from Les Misérables by  Boublil & Schönberg and , immediately setting an exciting tone for the evening.

A series of chamber performances followed, beginning with a poised rendition of Humoresque by Dvořák from the Woodwind Trio. Soloists then took to the stage, demonstrating both technical brilliance and expressive musicianship.

The Year 11 Band brought a change of pace with acoustic performances of songs by The Cure and The Libertines, creating an intimate and reflective moment in the programme.

The String Group delighted with imaginative arrangements, while both the Flute Trio and Saxophone Trio demonstrated tight ensemble skills, including a charming rendition of The Entertainer by Scott Joplin.

The concert concluded with a full Concert Orchestra performance, bringing together musicians from across the school. Their programme included music from Grease, the iconic theme from Forrest Gump by Alan Silvestri, and the unforgettable score from Jurassic Park by John Williams. The evening closed with Ride Through the Valley, leaving the audience uplifted and inspired.
