School Production of Singin’ in the Rain JR

Our students were delighted to perform one of the greatest musicals of all time ‘Singin’ in the Rain.

The school’s talented your people gave a truly impressive performance during the three performances last week.

Headteacher Helen Cullen said ‘It is wonderful to be able to invite parents, family and friends to enjoy the end product
of these young people’s hard work, resilience and determination. To learn lines, work with a range of different students and take to the stage takes great courage and confidence.”

“I know that everyone who came to watch the show will be immensely proud of the students on the stage and those behind the scenes supporting with lights, backstage, make up and costume.”

She added “This evening would not have been possible without the wonderful Mrs Kiddell, Mrs Patel, Miss Tessier, Miss Steer and Mrs Holman who continue to inspire and motivate our students, please do take a moment to thank them for all they do.

“I know that Mrs Kiddell would like to join me in thanking all the students, parents and staff who have helped and supported her in this performance’.

The school would like to give thanks to Royal Clarence Lodge No 976 Bruton for their generous donation. With this donation we have been able to purchase a wireless microphone system and headsets that will not only support this production but productions in school for many years to come.
