Summer Newsletter

Welcome to our Summer Newsletter! We’re so pleased to be able to showcase the broad range of work and activities our students have been doing this past term.

I was delighted to see so many of you at our Speech Day. It really is a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate all the achievements of our students. It was a pleasure to welcome Reverend Jonathan Evans who kindly stepped in at the last minute to address the school and present students with their awards.

We’ve had a busy last week of term, with sports activities, a Walk for Life raising money for Cancer Research and our end of year Summer Church Service. It was unfortunate that the weather wasn’t kind to us this week, but as ever our students have remained high spirited to get to the end of term.

Finally, I would like to say a big thank you to the Friends of Sexey’s School and to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts this year. We are looking forward to bringing back the popular Sexey’s Big Breakfast and the Bruton Community Fireworks next year.

I wish you all a restful Summer holiday and look forward to seeing our Year 11s and Year 13s on exam results days.
