Senior Houseparent


We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and empathetic Senior Houseparent to join our highly committed boarding team. Responsible for the welfare and pastoral care of our boarding students, resident house staff undertake evening, wake-up and weekend duties providing appropriate pastoral support for those in their care. The successful candidate will have the ability to work and communicate with young people, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and the desire and commitment to make a difference to young people’s lives and their experience of boarding.

The working rota includes 3 x wake ups, 3 x evening shifts (3.30pm – 11pm) plus 1 x 6 hour admin day and one day each weekend, 2 weekends out of three. Accommodation and meals provided whilst on shift.

Actual salary £25,428 per annum based on full-time equivalent salary of £27,362

43.5 hours per week, Term time only plus one week (36 working weeks)
