Maintenance Person

  • POSTED

We have an unrelenting commitment to be exceptional in all that we do

We are looking for an organized and motivated Maintenance Person to join our busy and committed Site team.  The successful candidate will provide a caretaking and maintenance service across the school site.  Duties will include general caretaking work, repairs to buildings and equipment, opening and locking-up buildings and driving the school minibus.  Working hours are 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday plus additional weekend duties on a rota basis (approximately once each half-term) for which overtime will be paid.

Candidates should have general DIY skills, a full driving licence and the ability to work as part of a team.  Previous health and safety training and experience of working with young people would be an advantage but are not essential.

We pride ourselves on our positive staff/student relationships.  Sexey’s School has a strong team of staff who are caring, supportive and working with a ‘determination to be exceptional in all that we do’.

In return, we offer excellent CPD opportunities, a supportive staff body and the opportunity to work in a high performing State Boarding School.
