Independent Listener (Volunteer Role)

We have a volunteering opportunity for an Independent Listener to work with our boarding community. The Independent Listener is a person outside of the school who our boarding students may contact directly about problems or concerns at school. Candidates must have an excellent understanding of safeguarding, an understanding and empathy with the needs of school age children and adolescents and experience of working in a counselling role or similar.

Our students are a delight to work with: they are articulate, hardworking, well-motivated and display our 7 core values in the way that they treat each other. We pride ourselves on our positive staff/student relationships.
