General Kitchen Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Would you like to join our dedicated catering team?

We are seeking an hardworking individual to take on the role of General Kitchen Assistant. The successful applicant will work closely with the Catering Manger and other Catering staff to provide a lunch service to our students. Duties will involve basic food preparation, washing and cleaning of cutlery, crockery etc. and cleaning of tables and serving food cafeteria fashion.

The hours are part-time for 12.5 hours per week working 12:30 to 14:30 Monday to Friday and 16:30 – 19:00 on a Thursday.

Grade 16 Point 2, Actual salary £6,660 per annum based on full-time equivalent salary of £23,650

12.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Term time only plus three weeks (38 working weeks)

To cover maternity leave until April 2025 or until the post holder returns, whichever is earlier
