Senior Houseparent: Lucy O’Donnell
After a successful career in floristry, my family relocated to Somerset when my husband (a teacher) was offered a job in a boarding school. I can remember my time as a student in boarding and have always appreciated the unique impact residential education can have on developing young people – and the lifelong friendships that come from living with each other. As my three children grew up, I joined Sherborne Prep School as a Teaching Assistant, ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) and Art Teacher. My son became a boarder at Sexey’s in 2023, and I am delighted to join the community as the Houseparent of Coombe. My family, Bruno (our cat) and Teddy and Edward (our guinea pigs) – are looking forward to making Coombe House a home from home for young people boarding for the first time.
Matron: Mrs S Hole

Stacie run’s the House on a daily basis with her domestic team and the health and well-being of the boarders in her care is of paramount importance.
Stacie is a vital link between boarding and School and brings a wealth of knowledge to her role and will always go the extra mile for the boarders.
Stacie is a key part of the Sexey’s community with a daughter in Year 7 and son joining in September 2022.
