Autumn End of Term Newsletter
Welcome to our End of Autumn Term Newsletter with a summary of some of our activity over the last couple of months.
As we close the year, we reflect on all that we have achieved this term. I’d like to start by thanking my staff, students and of course all parents for your support.
It’s been wonderful to see the school coming back together as a community. Firstly to mark Remembrance Day and then to once again visit St Mary’s the Virgin for our Christmas Carol Service.
This term we’ve had successes in Hockey, with three out of four teams making it into the league finals and a big well done to our Year 9’s who came second against a very strong Holyrood team.
As always, I am so proud of the kindness our students show to one another, especially to those that are new to the school. It’s been a joy to see students take full advantage and embrace every opportunity provided to them by the school with both hands.
Thank you all for supporting our events this year and we hope to bring more exciting fundraising opportunities next year
I wish you a very restful and peaceful Christmas and look forward to welcoming everyone back in January.
Helen Cullen,
Headteacher
