After qualifying at Farnborough, 12 students headed to Crawley for the Regional Final of the British Schools Karting Championship 2022 on Wednesday 11^th May.

It was a very busy evening with 13 teams taking part from 5 schools with only the 1^st & 2nd placed teams going forward to the National Final.

There was some exceptional driving from our students, in particular Ed G and Josh S. However sadly, with some unfortunate crashes and questionable driving standards, we did not reach the top two, but we came a respectable 6^th – 9^th

6^th place – Theo K, Ed G & Will G

7^th place – Billy O, Dan S & Charlie Z

8^th place – Ben H, Elliot M & Ned S

9^th place – Xander A, Josh S & Jack M

A special thank you to Mr Goodman who gave up his time not only for the race, but for an extra practice session.  I would also like to thank the parents & families who came along to support us. It was great to see you there.

It was a nail-biting evening and not the result we were hoping for, but it was a pleasure taking the students who represented the school impeccably.

We are delighted to offer our students a large variety of extracurricular clubs and activities and fingers crossed for the British Schools Karting Championship 2023.
