There were flashes of yellow around school all Friday as staff and pupils supported this years Big Yellow Friday, by wearing items of yellow ranging from small badges, socks & jumpers to crocs and even a full top-to-tail outfit of  yellow. This is the seventh year that BYF has taken place at Sexey’s School in support of The Childrens’ Liver Disease foundation and with £660 raised this year, takes the total raised in that time to well over £35,000.

It was also great to welcome back to Sexey’s Tilly (who is the oldest child of 2 former pupils who met in Sexey’s Sixth Form and who had a life saving liver transplant at 10 months old) to reveal the total raised and present prizes to the lucky winners in the prize draw.  Thank you to the current sixth form students for their support in selling tickets, all who bought tickets, all who wore yellow and especially the companies who donated the great prizes.
