Sports Awards 2019

Sports Awards 2019

Congratulations to all of the students who were celebrated for their achievements at our Sports Awards 2019 on 10th December. We were lucky enough to be joined by Heather Fell, former British modern pentathlete, turned triathlete. Heather (pictured) shared her experiences of competing at the 2008 Summer Olympics, winning the silver medal in the women’s modern pentathlon event. She told students about the importance of persevering in the face of disappointment, recalling her own career and encouraging them not to lose hope.

Students Albert Steele (Year 12) and Jessica Stevens (Year 10) spoke about their sporting lives at Sexey’s, paying tribute to teachers and team mates.
