Charlie Cool’s is a café in the centre of a small town, somewhere in Britain during the 1950’s, where you can enjoy a milkshake and a laugh away from nagging parents and the pressures of school. It’s where friends chat, hearts break and the elusive love of your life is an ever-changing, eternal possibility.

The upcoming Big Talent Show that will be hosted there promises a cash prize and a terrific career boost in show business. Will Fred win the contest and the girl of his dreams or will events spiral out of control?
