Coombe

Coombe House

Coombe is home to about 90 boys and girls aged 12-15 with a small number of older prefects. The house is run by Phil Todd and Lorraine Can (Houseparents), both of whom have been at the school for a number of years. They are ably supported by Jenna Middleton, Rob Goatly and Tom Balch (Assistant Houseparents) and by Fiona Harvey (Matron). A number of tutors come in for the evenings to provide additional activities.

We encourage our students to take up every opportunity they are offered and to do everything to the highest standard they are capable of. We help our students in their academic studies and support them when things go wrong at school, advising them on how to make things right.

We try to put on as many activities as possible to provide new opportunities and to have fun.
