Sexey’s has a modern School Health Centre staffed by three nurses who provide comprehensive medical care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The nurses aim to deliver seamless health service to the whole school community with care and understanding, in confidence and without prejudice.
Counselling is available on site and our local GP carries out weekly clinics in the School. Facilities include two fully equipped wards, a fully functional clinic and examination room, and quiet areas.
In the event of an accident or medical emergency there is a qualified first responder, sports injury nurse, and minor illness and injury nurse as well as qualified first aiders in the boarding houses and in school. For more information, particularly on details of ‘Medical in Confidence’, please do contact us.
We encourage parents to keep in touch with their School tutor about any concerns they might have or issues at home that might impact upon their child’s school life, so that we can act accordingly in providing support and understanding.
“I love the fact that my girls can go to the Centre when they’re distressed or hurt as they are in the very best care with the nurses, and will soon be able to carry on with their school day.”
